The Rev. Dr. Doris Garcia Rivera is a proud mother of three adults and an ordained Baptist minister of the ABC – Puerto Rico. She served in theological education as Missionary in Central America with International Ministries of American Baptist Churches (IM-ABC) for 23 years. Doris became the first woman President of the Evangelical Seminary of Puerto Rico and later supported the Baptist Fellowship of North America as Interim Director. Today, she works as the Academic Coordinator for Lilly’s Pathways for Tomorrow Grant and as Hebrew Bible, Mission and Evangelism Contingent Faculty at Lexington Theological Seminary.
